Diogo’s Coronavirus Playlist

Since Governor Charlie Baker ordered schools to be closed for three weeks, I decided to curate a playlist informing about the dangers of COVID-19 and how to prevent the spread.  Listeners can’t do much – like go out for dinner or attend movie theaters – but listen to the message.

“Coronavirus”– Gmac Cash

Detroit Rapper Gmac Cash is preaching about the importance of social distancing. The chorus of the song is a simplified way to learn the practice of social distancing. “I aint finna take a trip with this coronavirus” is the perfect line of what to do. Listen to Gmac Cash, he wants you to follow his lead like, “I’m bout to stay in house and play games.” No need to go to Besteas or go sleeping over at your friend’s house or go hooping with friends.

“Corona Virus” – Yofrangel

Knowledge of COVID-19 should be accessible to everyone. You might have questions about its credibility. Yes, this Latin jam provides great knowledge. And yes, it will make you dance.

“So Fresh, So Clean” – Outkast

Do you want to be so fresh and so clean like Mr. Big Boi and Mr. Andre 3000 during this pandemic? Frequently wash your hands for about 20 seconds.  If you want, you sing the chorus of “So Fresh, So Clean” while washing your hands as an internal countdown needed to be fresh and clean away from the coronavirus.

“Stay” – Rihanna

Rihanna wants you to practice social distancing so we can “flatten the curve” and then, maybe, if we survive the pandemic, she’ll drop her new album.

“How Will I Know” – Whitney Houston

You will know if you have COVID-19 if you take a test. But the testing capacity in the United States is really low compared to South Korea – Korea has tested 15,000 per day while the U.S. has almost that in total. Good indications of having the virus are: runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever, difficulty breathing.

“Any Time, Any Place”Janet Jackson

COVID-19 is the most impartial thing (I would say living thing, but viruses aren’t living things) in America! It doesn’t discriminate and it’s not prejudice. Waka Flocka Flames said the disease is fake and can’t harm minorities. Donovan Mitchell. The virus can survive on hard surfaces like plastic and stainless metal for up to 72 hours. On cardboard, 24 hours. So clean up because the most impartial thing in America can lead to the triage.

“XO TOUR Llif3”Lil Uzi Vert

Crazy how ever since Uzi proclaimed we all are going to Hell because millions of people have listened to the seven-time platinum song in 2018, everything has gone downhill.

“Antidote”- Migos

I got the antidote, antidote, antidote, antidote.” Actually it is impossible for Quavo to have an antidote for the virus. A vaccine for the virus would take about a year, because not enough chicken eggs are produced to create a vaccine. The virus is injected into a chicken embryo, so it can reproduce, modify, and be heated so it can be in a liquid suitable for injection. So, don’t be confident a vaccine will appear quickly.

“Everything’s Gonna Be Alright (Three Little Birds)”- Bob Marley

I mean, I hope so.
